Quadcopter flight into the clouds

This day I thought about something I would consider it a little bit strange or difficult.

My strange idea was this : Can quadcopters reach the clouds and fly into it?

And if so, what would happen. And how would the quadcopter withstand the environment up there?

I found that it happened and it IS really possible to fly a quadcopter to that altitude.

I found that video which shows this guy flies his DJI F550 hexacopter into and above the clouds.

The flight end up with a crash because the hexacopter couldn't resist the wind speed up there. And while it was supposed to fly straight upwards and then straight downwards it couldn't do so because of high wind speed.

Also, the hexacopter was supposed to perform auto landing procedure when the battery has reached certain level to protect itself, but the hexacopter couldn't complete the process for some reason and then the battery depleted until it crashed.
